Here’s All We Know About Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro And Note 9 Pro Max!

Two new phones were Launched by Xiaomi on Thursday that is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

The company surprisingly did not unveil the vanilla Redmi Note 9 and there is no speculated date as of when it will be launched in India.

Both Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max have a lot of similarities. They both have a Quad rear camera setup and have the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.

Although they have a lot of similarities both the phones are quite different in a few aspects apart from their price. Let’s see what makes these phones stand out from each other!

The Price Factor!

The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes in two variants, the 4GB+ 64 GB variant comes at the price of Rs12,999 and the 6GB+ 128GB variant is priced at Rs15,999. It comes in Aurora Blue, Interstellar Black, and Glacier White color options.

The pricing for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is Rs14,999 for 6 GB+ 64GB variant, Rs16,999 for 6GB +128 GB variant. The 8 GB + 128GB model comes at the price of Rs18,999. The colors available are Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Black.


Both Redmi Note 9 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max are dual SIM and run on Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box. Both phones have 6.67 inches of full HD display with a resolution of 1080× 2400 pixels, an oleophobic layer on top and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The two phones also have similar Snapdragon 720G SoC.

The storage of 6 GB variant of Redmi Note 9 Pro is 128 GB with expandable memory up to 512 GB.

As for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max the RAM capacity is 8 GB with the internal storage remaining the same 128 GB. The expandable memory via micro SD card is 512 GB.

When it comes to camera both the phones are quite different.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48 MP main camera and an 8 MP wide-angle camera with a 119-degree field of view, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 5 MP macro shooter with a 2 cm focus range. For selfies and video calls, it has 16 MP front cameras.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP 119 degrees field of view wide-angle snapper, 2 MP depth sensor, and 5 MP macro shooter with a 32 MP front camera.

Redmi Note 9 Pro also comes with a 5,020 mAh battery that supports 18 W fast charging

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max also comes with a 5,020 mAh battery but with a fast 33 W charging.

Both the phones have quite good specifications and amazing features which are great for gaming and multitasking!
