The next premium device of Motorola is finally released following months of speculation and leaks. In his latest foldable device, Motorola Razr 2020, the smartphone maker had triggered the launch in a media invitation sent to the journalists.
The invite shows that on 9 September the device, which is known as Moto Razr 2020, is being launched. Although the brief teaser invite was not disclosed much, the company says that “flip the smartphone experience once again.”
The teaser, who was sent as an invitation, provides an insight into the face of Moto Razr 2020. You can see the device in gold from the brief clip posted by The Verge. Interestingly, the Razr model currently on the market also offers a gold color option.
The fonts used to announce the date of Moto Razr 2020 were also uncannily identical to the previous one. For the teaser of Moto Razr 2019, Motorola even used the word “flip.”
While you don’t have a hard time scratching your head to see what Motorola is saying, the new smartphone is supposed to be a significant improvement compared to the previous Moto Razr. Last year, the company launched the first folding Android smartphone at a cost of Rs 1,24,999 in India with a customizable OLED display.
The exorbitant price attracted many customers and the company, therefore, decided to carry in the form of Moto Razr 2020 a more technologically rich folding device.
The Motorola Razr 2020 has a 6.2 “Flex View P-OLED flexible display, according to the leaks and speculations. The smartphone has a 2.7-inch Easy View G-OLED secondary display, this is also seen in the renders that run the internet.
As for the camera, it is expected that Motorola would deliver better camera specifications than its predecessor. A 48-megapixel main camera and 20-megapixel selfie camera are available on the foldable smartphone.
If the rumors are right, buyers see a big camera update, with a 16-megapixel main camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel auto-camera in the first generation Moto Razr.
Moto Razr 2020 will be driven with Snapdragon 765 Soc, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. That’s a massive upgrade to the model with a 6 GB and 128 GB Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The battery is expected to have a 2845mAh 2-generation Moto Razr battery with 18W fast-charging support, which is another minor improvement on the 2510mAh Moto Razr 5 G battery with a 15W quick charging support.
In the most recently occurring leaks, the Moto Razr 2020 was seen on the back of the phone in a color of silver mercury.
