In its official listing on the Company website, Oppo A12e was reported and detailed as the forthcoming smartphone of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The latest listing has since been restored and indicates it is outdated, but Google already has a cached version.
The cached variant of the Oppo A12e reveals the critical specifications that seem to have been a rebranded Oppo A3s variant. In addition, the apps included in the product page display the configuration of the handset.
Before it was down, the page was released on the Oppo Vietnam website. A 6.2-inch screen is seen on the archived edition of the listing website, with an aspect ratio of 19:9. This is available in two colors: purple and red as seen in the videos.
Two cameras will be on the back with assistance for portrait shots. The fairly large notch is the AI 2.0 beauty mode selfie camera on the top.
Oppo A12e Specifications
The list also reveals that the Oppo A12e is powered by a Snapdragon SoC 14 nm octa-core but the company does not offer the processor’s exact name. The Oppo A12e can carry a battery of 4,230 mAh, the company says, with continued use for up to 18 hours.
The phone also has the right to decrypt and work on ColorOS 5.1. The Oppo A12e listing also displays a music party feature that appears to allow the connectivity of other smartphones via a hotspot.
No detail is available on the RAM, power, camera resolutions and some other main Oppo A12e specifications. It is still uncertain when and at what price the phone will be launched.
In 2018, when it was discussed with the Oppo A3s, only 2 GB + 16 GB is released, but then a new 3 GB + 32Go was introduced. With a 19:9 aspect ratio, the handset is equipped with the 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1.520 pixels).
The Snapdragon 450 SoC is powered by the octa-core and comes with a maximum capacity of 2 GB and 3 GB RAM. It is also fitted with a dual rear camera with the main 13-megapixel sensor and a supplementary 2-megapixel sensor. For selfies, the 8-Megapixel AI Beauty 2.0 sensor is available.
