At its Galaxy Unpacked virtual event, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 was unveiled by the company. There have been many leaks and speculation, but now the official announcement has finally been made. Two sizes, 41 mm and 45 mm, come for the Galaxy Watch 3.
In each scale, there are two models, one with only Wi-Fi and one with LTE. The Galaxy Watch 3 also comes with the designation MIL-STD-810 G, water-resistance, and three color options.
Samsung states the Galaxy Watch 3 has many enhancements over the Galaxy Watch in its original form. It is 14% slimmer, 8% smaller, and 15% lighter than its predecessor.
“Galaxy Watch’s features have evolved with every new version and now Galaxy Watch 3 offers new health and well-being tracking experiences,” Samsung said in a statement.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Price
In stainless steel and titanium variants, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is available. The 45 mm model is assigned the colors, Black and Silber, while the 41 mm model is the colors Silver and Bronze. The 45 mm model has the colors, Mystic Black and Mystic Silver.
For both the 41 mm as well as the 45 mm sizes, the smartwatch comes for LTE and WiFi models. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will be on sale in selected markets worldwide starting today.
The cost is 399 dollars (approximately Rs 30,000) per model of 41 mm in the United States while 45 mm would be 429 dollars (approximately Rs. 32,100).
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Specifications
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3 is powered by the Wearable OS 5.5 in Tizen. The Circular DSS display on 41 mm display is 1.2 inch (360×360 pixels), with the same resolution covered from Corning Gorilla Glass DX. It also has a 1.4-inch display on the 45 mm model.
The smart device is powered by the Exynos 9110 CPU, Mali-T720 GPU dual-core and storage packs of 1 GB and 8 GB. The IP68 water resistance and ML-STD-810 G architecture are supported by the Samsungs Galaxy Watch 3.
The smaller 41 mm version has a battery of 247mAh, while the bigger one of 45 mm has a battery of 340mAh. The LTE model is fitted with eSIM to allow 4 G access, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth v5.0 for the Wi-Fi application. GPS is also on board. There is also a speaker and a microphone that makes calls to the smart clock.
The company also claims that the Smartwatch bundles Blood oxygen (SpO2) which can measure and track saturation of oxygen over time. To order to be able to provide support for blood pressure control and electrocardiogram readings to select countries, the smartwatch must receive the Samsung Health Monitor app once available.
Samsung has also updated the smartwatch with a new Trip Detection feature to allow users to send an individual SOS warning to emergency contacts. With regard to functionality, the smartwatch is normally designed with two buttons on the right side. A physical rotating bezel is also available. The leather straps are available in various sizes.
